Moses Enock

Moses Enock is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 16 years of experience in nursing, midwifery, and health systems strengthening. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery from Mzuzu University, a Postgraduate  Diploma and Certificate in Healthcare Quality Management from  Resilience Centre: Stockholm University:  Sweden and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Boston, Moses combines clinical expertise with robust programmatic and implementation skills.

For more than 10 years, Moses has played a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives in maternal, newborn health (MNH), and HIV care across Malawi. Currently, he serves as a Healthcare Improvement Advisor  at compelling Works, where he supports introduction of PrEP as  new HIV prevention products. His work emphasizes capacity building for health workers, strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Health, and partner coordination to align with national quality management strategies.

Moses previously  served as Healthcare Improvement Advisor and Resource Mobilization Coordinator at MaiKhanda Trust,  supporting PEPFAR-funded HIV initiatives on ART linkage, retention, and viral suppression.  Also served as Safe Motherhood Coordinator for Lilongwe District Council, where he led MNH projects and advised implementing partners to ensure alignment with district priorities. His leadership experience also includes roles as Hospital Matron at Mitundu Community Hospital and Nurse Officer at Bwaila Labour Ward.

A published researcher and sought-after capacity development consultant, Moses has worked with organizations such as LightHouse and Save the Children to integrate quality improvement in HIV and MNH programs. His dedication to excellence has earned him several national and international accolades, including the 2018 Best Quality Improvement Advisor Award from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (USA), and Best Midwife of the Year Award from the Association of Malawian Midwives.

He is a registered Nurse Midwife with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi and is highly skilled in health systems strengthening, data-driven quality improvement, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilization.
