As an established career architect with over 10 years’ broad-based experience in IT advisory, IT Project management, designing, IT architectures across several industry verticals-specifically in, networking, collaboration, security, and project management.
Kelly is a graduate of Makerere University with a First Class honors degree in Information Technology and currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Data science and Business Administration at the university of London.
Kelly has had the privilege of working in over 5 –countries across Africa, and particularly has worked in, Makerere University Uganda as a Cisco lecturer, graduating over 300 students and pioneering a first of its kind, identity management platform for the university. Airtel Uganda as a Senior Executive -IT, leading the implementation of over $20M worth of telecoms ICT Infrastructure, and supporting the infrastructure for over 2-Millions subscribers. As a technical project manager, in a Kenyan systems integrator, Kelly led the implementation of a $245M Managed Equipment Services flagship project for the government of Kenya and was instrumental in developing the IT architecture framework for Huduma Kenya, an award winning government public service delivery platform. Additionally, in Malawi, as a senior technical advisor, Kelly oversaw the scaleup of a $11M Electronic Medical Record platform across over 242 facilities in Malawi and was instrumental in pioneering the first public cloud technology for the Ministry of Health hosting Malawi’s HIV/AIDS cohort data. In addition, Kelly has consulting experience with several leading banking, insurance, and government projects across Africa.
