Ipyana MWambila

Ipyana Mwambila is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting, Auditing, and Information Systems from the Malawi College of Accountancy. She is a registered accountant with the Malawi Accountants Board and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Malawi. Currently Ipyana is pursuing the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification.

She is a highly motivated and professional accountant with proven experience in business bookkeeping, tax accounting, external auditing, administration, and financial management for over three years. She holds a reputation for investigating and resolving issues and constantly striving for process improvement. Ipyana is Independent, creative, and critical thinker with sound judgment and strategic decision-making competencies as well as the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Ipyana is the Finance and Administrative Officer of Compelling Works. Working closely with Michael, she is responsible for accounting, human resource, and compliance issues at operational level. She is responsible for preparing events, planning activities, raising requisitions, carrying out procurements, handling per diems and other allowances of field staff, filing in accountability and cash returns and support with the generation of month-end, quarter-end and annual financial reports among other tasks.
