Compelling Works Hosts Successful 2024 Year-End Staff Retreat

Compelling Works kick started the year 2025 by holding its highly anticipated 2024 year-end staff retreat from January 9th to 10th. This two-day event, a cornerstone of the company’s calendar, brought together teams from across regions to reflect on the past year and prepare for the future.

 The Malawi team gathered in Blantyre, while the Uganda team met in Kampala. Staff members from Germany also participated, joining virtually to ensure an inclusive experience. This fostered collaboration across borders, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to unified growth and development.

 The retreat served as a platform to review the company’s 2024 performance, organizational changes, and project milestone completion . Discussions revolved around key achievements, areas for improvement, and opportunities. Teams worked collaboratively to:

 * Establish milestones and milestone acceptance criteria for the 2025 performance board.

 * Plan winning strategies for the year ahead.

 * Optimize operations across departments.

 * Provide feedback on key company systems

* Develop personal growth and performance plans.

Engagement was central to the retreat, with staff actively participating in group discussions and activities.The first day concluded with a catchup and engagement session, providing a relaxed environment for staff members to connect beyond work discussions.

 The retreat ended with a board meeting, where strategic plans for 2025 were reviewed and finalized. This session ensured alignment between organizational goals and the actionable milestones defined during the retreat.

 The 2024 year-end staff retreat was a success, setting the stage for a more collaborative, strategic, and growth-focused 2025. By addressing past challenges and laying out clear objectives, Compelling Works continues to empower its teams and reinforce its commitment to excellence.
