Angelica holds Master of Public Health (Population and Reproductive Health), An MBA specializing in Management and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science and Statistics), all from Uganda Martyrs University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health at UNICAF University – Zambia.

I have 16 years of working experience in different sectors having started off my career as an IT Support officer at the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company then moved on to work for UMEME LTD (company currently managing the electricity distribution network in Uganda) as a Business Analyst. From 2011 I joined the NGO world as a Program officer at IntraHealth International Inc supporting implementation of Heath System strengthening projects specifically in the areas of Human Resources for Health planning, health information systems and data use for evidence based decision making. I have also worked as a part-time lecturer of Health Information Systems and Health Services Management.

Over the years I have gained experience in working with multiple stakeholders including central government institutions, donors, academic institutions, for profit organizations and private not for profit organizations to strengthen systems for enhanced service delivery. I have also gained skills in program development, implementation and monitoring plus coordination of teams to achieve set targets. 

Am very passionate about girl child empowerment and a strong advocate for women’s rights and education of vulnerable children. In my free time I support charity organizations working in these three areas as a volunteer. I also enjoy reading and travelling
